About Us
Nick Goyal, a mechanical engineer working in San Francisco, got his start in the fueling industry with a single Arco Station in 1978 in Oakland, CA. Goyal grew within the Arco franchise for a number of years before working with Shell Oil during the mid-1980s. Goyal grew as a lessee dealer and contract operator for Shell Oil until 1995, when he built his first fuel station in Southern California. Between 1995 and 2007, Goyal built a fleet of over 25 locations. In 2010, an additional 77 locations were acquired from Shell Oil, thus Au was born, now a wholesaler for Shell Oil.
